Starting today, Abacor connects directly to FYI, one of the most popular document and practice management used by accounting firms in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. If your firm is managed using FYI, your client meeting notes now seamlessly sync against the correct client without the need to “copy and paste” or manually type notes.

The idea is simple. The work that happens in a client meeting, the decisions, the follow-ups, the change in circumstances, shouldn't live in a separate tool or someone's notebook. It should land in the client file, where your whole firm already works. With this integration, it does. The moment a meeting ends, Abacor captures it and files it into FYI automatically.

How the integration works

The integration keeps your client records and your meeting records in sync, so everything ends up where it belongs. Client data synchronises between FYI and Abacor, which means each meeting note, transcript, and task is filed against the correct client with no manual matching. Nothing lands under the wrong client, and nobody spends time reconciling two systems that should already agree.

When FYI is connected, Abacor:

  • Files every meeting into FYI fully captured and structured, with transcripts and summaries accessible directly in the client record, so the next person to open the file sees the whole picture rather than a fragment.

The Abacor integration is available for all practices on the FYI Pro and Elite plans. 

Getting started

To connect FYI with Abacor, an FYI admin or a user with Automations permissions will first need to link your account. Once connected, meeting records and tasks begin flowing into FYI automatically.
